Accessibility Statement
Last updated:
Sunday OS believes that people with disabilities should be able to use our website and our system with the same independence and dignity as everyone else. This statement describes where accessibility stands today, what we have not finished yet, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.
1. Our commitment
We work to make the Sunday OS website and system accessible in line with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Act, 1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments for Services) Regulations, 2013. Accessibility is ongoing work: we keep improving it as the product develops, and we treat reports about accessibility problems as defects to fix.
2. The standard we target
Our target is Israeli Standard 5568 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), level AA, which is based on the international WCAG 2.0 guidelines published by the W3C.
3. What we have done
- Zoom: pages do not block browser or pinch zoom, so text and content can be enlarged.
- Language and direction: every page declares its language and reading direction — Hebrew pages right-to-left, English pages left-to-right — so screen readers read them in the right language.
- Images: images carry a text alternative, and purely decorative images are marked so that screen readers skip them.
- Keyboard: buttons, menus, dialogs and form fields are built on components that can be operated with a keyboard, and buttons and input fields show a visible focus indicator.
- Structure: this page and the other public legal pages use a clear heading hierarchy, and their body text meets the AA contrast ratio against its background.
- Reduced motion: some of the system's animations are switched off when your device is set to reduce motion.
4. Known limitations
We prefer to tell you where we are not there yet:
- A comprehensive accessibility review of the whole system against Israeli Standard 5568 has not been completed yet. Parts of the system used after sign-in — for example dashboards, charts, boards and live call screens — may not be fully accessible yet.
- There is no "skip to main content" link yet.
- Not every animation in the system respects the reduce-motion setting yet.
- Some information in charts and graphs is presented visually only.
- Third-party content: content that does not originate with us — for example embedded videos from external services, files and media uploaded by users, and landing pages or forms that businesses using Sunday OS publish with their own content — may not be fully accessible, and its accessibility is not in our control.
5. Reporting an accessibility problem
If you ran into an accessibility problem on the website or in the system, please tell our accessibility coordinator (details below). It helps us fix it quickly if you include:
- the page or screen where it happened (a link, if you have one);
- what you were trying to do and what went wrong;
- the browser, device and any assistive technology you use (for example a screen reader);
- how we can get back to you.
We will get back to you and work to fix the problem, or to offer you another accessible way to get what you needed in the meantime.
